In the case of applications that demand full flow, this is a critical consideration, as you can understand. Therefore, wafer check valves are used in situations where flow isn’t a concern. Swing check Valves are used in applications where a full port valve is needed.

Suitable for installation between flanges, the wafer swing check valves have compact dimensions. The wafer swing check valves are easy to install because the valve opens in case of any minimum pressure increase and closes at any minimum pressure decrease. As wafer body slips between the standard flanges, flange gaskets are not required.
